When someone is diagnosed with Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma, it can be like riding in a fast moving car without brakes, one that is out of control and all of the sign posts offering direction seem to add to the confusion.  Decisions have to be made quickly with little or no knowledge of the disease or its treatment.  Side effects from the treatment can be worse than the disease itself.  All the while, life and its responsibilities go on.  The crisis is overwhelming.

Founded in July 2008, the Leroy Jefferson Williams, Jr. Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation was established in order to continue the legacy of the late Leroy Jefferson Williams, Jr. (March 5, 1952 - May 19, 2007).  The late Leroy Jefferson Williams, Jr. passed due to complications of Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma.  Throughout his life, and especially during his illness he would often say, "life is a challenge."  The foundation honors his struggles and courage to fight the disease.

Consistent with the late Leroy Jefferson Williams, Jr. vision, the foundation's philanthropic and education initiatives focuses the majority of our resources supporting the Leroy Jefferson Williams, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund at Alabama A & M University.  The Leroy Jefferson Williams, Jr. Foundation, Inc. believes education is the cornerstone for today's youth.

The Music Moves Me Run will raise public awareness of Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL) by providing support to the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation.

The Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation provides information, resources, and a community of support to help patients through challenging times.  This Foundation is the only organization in the world that is dedicated to providing patients, caregivers and loved ones with comprehensive programs and services designed to help and support people who are given a diagnosis of cutaneous lymphoma.
